Free at last!

It's 10:00 at night, Daxton is sound asleep, Eric is studying, and my lesson is all prepared for church tomorrow, so what is there to do~ blog of course! :)

New events and changes have taken place at the Taylor residence. Last month, after a looooong full year (almost to the day) of Eric looking for a new job, he got a phone call from E*Trade Financial. Asking Eric if he would like to come in for a competency test applying for a stock broker position. He passed with flying colors! They then interviewed him (out of hundreds of applicants) and told him they would be in touch. (Oh, how we had heard that a hundred times before!) Only to find out that they wanted to go through another set of interviews! Wahoo! Finally, two weeks ago, they ended all the grueling interviews and offered him the job!!! :) We couldn't have felt any more joyous or ecstatic! He has definitely found something that can jump start his career. I have to say, I am truly grateful and proud for such a wonderful hard working husband. He never ceases to amaze me.

*Eric, you put all your hard work and soul into getting this position, and you deserve it 110% babe! I love you!*

Classes started Monday- His first week is over. (And yes, I said classes) Eric will have to pass the series 7 and series 63 tests before he can move into the new hire training. For anyone who knows of anyone who has taken these tests, THEY ARE TOUGH. To say the least. But I know he can do it! Cross your fingers for us and for him!

I took the series 7 and series 63 back when I was working for Fidelity Investments. They are really tough, but I was able to pass both on the first try! The main thing is to just keep studying!!! Good Luck!
