Long time no write... my bad.

I know. I have been absolutely HORRIBLE at writing. But life has been absolutely InSaNe these past few months. Hm, where to start... Well, let's start back to our trip, it was a total blast! We went to Zion's for our Anniversary in April. It was beautiful there. From Hiking to swimming to even getting a WONDERFUL couples massage and dining out, and even going to the St. George temple, I don't think that it could've been a sweeter vacation. Just spending time with each other without the little one (THANKS MOM!! You're the BEST!!) was everything we could've asked for. It was absolutely blissful. We have some pretty cool shots from the trip (down below).

Then came May.... crazy MAY. We moved to Riverton. Yep, a total random idea, turned into a really good one. It was a really quick transition. Turned out to be a HUGE blessing. We feel so blessed that everything has worked out so well. It was crazy. But it all worked out and we're settled now, finally. Whew! :) We are loving it here. We are renting out our townhouse in West Jordan for a while to pay off student loans. We have taken Dave Ramsey's challenge to get out of debt! HOPEFULLY by next year everything will be paid off. Awesome. :) FINANCIAL FREEDOM- Wahoo!

Then came June. Eric and his dad have successfully built a salon in the basement. It's pretty sweet, and it's working out great! I still love doing hair and am pleased to still be able keep my clients and to do hair out of our home. So I am still in business, and being a total workaholic, for now.
(Don't worry Daxton has not been neglected! Living with Eric's parents has given him more attention than he has EVER had! Most of the time he wants nothing more than to be with grandma Laney and "bopa", and wants nothing to do with mommy and daddy!)

Last but not least, here is July. Last weekend Eric and I took Daxton to Bear Lake for his first time ever. Needless to say he love the Lake, AND the mud. lol.
We wanted to see how he'd do with a short camping trip, in a tent. (thought we would try it out before the big Larsen trip next month) I must say he was a real trooper. I don't think we saw one tear out of him the entire trip! He loved being in the tent and slept so well, and didn't make a peep in the middle of the night. (Guess that Bear Lake monster didn't give him nightmares) :)It turned out to be a total blast, so we will definitely be tenting it out again next month. (photos below)

Well, with all that said, everything is going well. No complaints, we have our health and we have each other, and there is nothing in the world that we would want more.

ENJOY THE PICS!!!

Thanks for the cute comments! I love this wonderful sweet family. I am writing this as Daxton lays sleeping while Mommy and Daddy are at a soccer game. He really is an awesome little guy!
